Wedding Destination: Portugal

How is it getting married in Portugal? I could tell you about the endless blue skies or the golden beaches that stretch like ribbons along the coast. I could share a laugh about how we’re fueled by espresso, sipping on what seems like our 300th cup as the sun sets. But let’s dive deeper, shall we?

The truth is, destination weddings in Portugal are more than just a trend; they’re an experience, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of it. Here at Louder Than Fire, I’ve built a team that shares my vision. Being a wedding photographer allows me to connect with incredible people on the happiest days of their lives: the morning excitement, the joyful tears, the heartfelt hugs, the wild dance parties, and the celebratory toasts.

André is the best! My fiancé planned a surprise proposal for me in Porto and worked with André to capture the moment. André went above and beyond, after the proposal took us around Porto. He makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera and is incredibly talented at taking natural photos that capture the feelings through the lens.

During our first meeting there was instant chemistry, and it never went away. Andre is a very professional photographer, has great ideas, is flexible but in particular a great person to work with. The whole process towards our wedding, during and afterwards felt very natural. Highly recommended!

We eloped to Porto in June and André was our photographer. We were both very nervous but oh my goodness! André was so amazing! He took us on an adventure around Porto and captured the most beautiful photos. He had a lovely ease about him and made our experience so much more fun. We would highly recommend!

I contacted André to help photograph and plan a proposal in the Douro Valley. It was a pleasure to work with him and I am still in awe of the beautiful scenes he framed and captured on that day. Despite the weather not cooperating, I couldn't be happier with how both the memories and photos turned out. Thank you André!
