Sneak peek Same-Sex Marriage
This same-sex marriage happened right there, on a public garden. Yes, it was a rush, a true adventure as they’ve decided last minute to get married! They came all the way from Israel to Portugal, they loved the city and felt inspired to do it.
“Now comes the knitting, the tying, entwining into one,
Mysterious involvement of two, whole, separate people
Into something altogether strange and changing, new and lovely.
Nothing can be, we will never be, the same again:
Not merged into each other irrevocably, but rather
From now on we go the same way, in the same direction”
Wedding Day Poem by Rowena Edlin-White
Casual and Super Chilled
Just underneath a tree, an olive, with the river in the background and a blue sky in the horizon… It was the spot they choose to do it. A sunny day, almost 22ºC/ 72ºF and no wind, it was just perfect.
The celebrant prepared a poem from Rowena Edlin-White. It was so beatiful!
