South Africa

South Africa, let the adventure begin

We started our adventure in South Africa by visiting the Kruger Park. Because we were feeling adventurous, we decided to go on a tour by ourselves (yes, you’re allowed to do that :p). It was a true lifetime experience, and all went well except maybe for a close encounter with a hyena, ah and maybe an angry elephant coming in our direction. We then travelled to Cape Town and stayed at the colorful neighborhood of Bo-Kaap. Visits to the Lion’s Head, Table Mountain and Robben Island were of course mandatory. From there we drove to the Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach to see the penguins and Muizenberg beach. Towards the end of the trip we visited Wilderness and went Kloofing in the Kaaimans river. The Bloukrans Bridge is the highest bridge for Bungee Jumping (216 meters) in the world, it was close by so we went check it out (as in, see others jumping :p).
