South Africa: From Kruger Park to Cape Town and Beyond

South Africa, let the adventure begin

I began my adventure in South Africa by visiting Kruger Park. Feeling adventurous, I opted for a self-guided tour (I’m astonished it’s permitted hehe). It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, though not without a few close calls, like encountering a hyena and an angry elephant heading my way.

Another highlight of my trip was the amazing food I had in some of the best restaurants in South Africa. I was astonished by the quality, the creativity and the diversity of the dishes I tasted. It was a gastronomic delight and a treat for my senses.

I then traveled to Cape Town and stayed in the colorful neighborhood of Bo-Kaap. Visits to Lion’s Head, Table Mountain, and Robben Island were mandatory, of course. From there, I drove to the Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach to see the penguins, and Muizenberg beach. Towards the end of my trip, I visited Wilderness and went Kloofing in the Kaaimans River. The Bloukrans Bridge, the highest bridge for Bungee Jumping (216 meters) in the world, was close by, so I went to check it out (as in, witness others taking the leap, oc hehe)
